28 Drawings Later

In order to try and break my art block I joined 28 Drawings Later on Facebook.

I'm behind, but still going! I'm quite pleased with Babar, eyeballing or not it is inked and coloured, and that's more than I've done in SOME time. Starting to feel a little more hopeful :)

The lifedrawings were all done from http://www.pixelovely.com/tools/gesture.html which is so awesome!

Ratemydrawings fun and freinds

I've been playing too!

And secondly; I found this in my sketchbook from about two months ago. It occurs to me that my freinds are rather an attractive bunch.

WIP and thoughts about noses.

There's still quite a lot of work to do structurally. This will be my first painting of Esk represented as something other than a button-nosed brit (like her freind there, a result of referencing myself a lot while learning), so I want to get it right. It was always something that bothered me that I wasn't able to depict ethnicity satisfactorily. As you may be able to tell, I am still having more difficulty painting her this way than I am the more familar form.
I'd appreciate feedback on this.

Speaking of myself;
