Proof that I have not dieded

I am doing things. A bit. I mean, other than watching Star Trek and job hunting. Um. Well, sort of. I knitted some fingerless mittens this week. A pair for myself to match the scarf Max made me, and a pair for mum. Mittens knittens... kittens...

Anyway. I have learned today that the internet really is not the appropriate place for oil painting. There just does not seem to be a way of getting such things online and looking good.

These are 6x4cm. Making them was a lot of fun! Not sure why, really.

Lastly, I am most pleased with the Eskface in this doodle.

:D yay mittens! I'd like to know how to knit fingerless gloves.
I think there's a way that you can take photos without the flash that works alright for oil paintings.
You have a thing with headscarves at the moment, it's nice, so rarely done as well... maybe I should try it.
Esk face is really really nice, there's something greatly appealing about her nose.

Fingerless gloves are kind of fiddly because you have to knit round each of the fingers seperatley. I'm not quite at that level yet! The good thing about fingerless mittens is that you can do a version on a regular pair of needles if you don't mind having a seam up the side.

Headscarves are underrated!
